Getting around with Cerebral Palsy

This post is all about getting around (a bit of a clue in the title!) whether you use crutches, a wheelchair etc. I use Crutches and a manual wheelchair for longer walks. Please comment what you use because I'm super interested!

First post

Okay as this is my first post I thought it would be best to tell you about myself! I'm 12 and I have Cerebral Palsy (as you may of guessed by the title!). I'm into ONE DIRECTION like most girls my age ;) I created this blog to chat to other people with CP in similar situations as me! Oh and if you haven't noticed I LOVE using !

Who Am I?

Hello! My name is Evie, I am eighteen years old and I have Spastic Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral Palsy affects my muscle control therefore I am unable to walk long distances and experience pain. My CP also affects my hands, as a result I tend to use a laptop instead of writing as fine motor skills are sometimes a bit tricky. I use my wheelchair to help me get around if I'm very tired or know there is a long walking day ahead!
I am writing this blog to raise awareness about Cerebral Palsy and related conditions through the discussion of topics which often just aren't talked about. Anyway, welcome to my blog and I hope you enjoy!
